The Creative Writing Program at the University of Virginia offers a three-year MFA in Creative Writing in poetry and fiction, admitting four poets and four fiction writers each year, with an option to graduate in two years. All students receive the same fellowship and teaching support along with tuition, fees and health insurance coverage. Undergraduate creative writing is offered as concentrations within the English major and as a minor.
